windows 10 suggested text problem
Hello,
The problem I have is that if I misspell a word instead of replacing it the replacement is added to the text or if you hit spacebar to start the next word the suggestion is added giving you a duplicate. Chrome works with it just fine as well as Libre Office, the Facebook for Windows app (of course) and other desktop (non "Windows 10" apps). please see the screenshots attached.
You'll see the word jupiter is suggested to the capitalized. I hit the space bar and when the suggestion is handed to Firefox it appends it instead of replacing the word that needs correction or completed.
In this sentence I'll select a suggestion to complete a word that I am typing, here: constconstruction (see attached images)
Is this something you guys can fix?

It is called Text Suggestions
I didn't find it searching for "text suggestions". (Just an Android bug)
It seems to have been made available about three months ago: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2017/11/08/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-17035-pc/
I think there might not be enough "Windows Insiders" filing new bugs to get changes like this into the queue. You might want to get the ball rolling.

The Firefox spell checker only highlights misspelled words, taking no other action. What else are you using for spelling? (add-ons)
It is part of the next version of Windows 10 (Redstone 4), it works in any text box as you type. I have no add-ons in Firefox. Maybe I should try a beta version of Firefox?

What is this feature called, can you link to a page about it? I want to search in Bugzilla to see if anyone has filed any bugs related to integrating with it.
If you want to search directly: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
Would you please read FredMcD's post again ?
Firefox spell checker underlines misspelled words (in red), but you'll have to remove them yourself and then type the word again, with the correct spelling this time.

It is called Text Suggestions
This has nothing to do with Firefox'es spell checker .......

I'm running it, it incorporates a system level text suggestions system. Only firefox has the issue of instead of replacing a word you're typing on your physical keyboard it adds the word sent by the text suggestion system to what has been typed thus far. As shown in the screenshots attached.
The black popups you see are the Text Suggestions feature in Windows 10 1803

Good deal, will do. I believe this is 1803 is to release in March, so there will likely be more users asking about this then.
