I'm considering adopting a password manager program like LastPass. I'd like to know how Thunderbird would work using LastPass. Currently, I have do not used saved passwords within Thunderbird, nor do I use a master password. I have my suspicions about what would have to be done, but I'd like input from someone who has actually made it work. Thanks for your help.

Do not expect an answer. Adoption of that software is not high with the regulars in this forum. Or at least that has been my observation in the past. Basically I know we get the occasional support request because lastpass submits the wrong passwords after password changes. Beyond that I know nothing.
