Form the information you have supplied, it appears that you are using an older version of Firefox (v.47). I strongly recommend that you update and then see if this issue reoccurs. You can read more about how to update here.

A easy way to see if system meets needs for sites like Youtube is to look at https://www.youtube.com/html5/

FFmpeg will help if you not not have it.
