How to make the account name for each email, Show the inbox for that email, So i dont have to expand every account
So I want to use Thunderbird for all my emails in one place, I am tired of constantly switch tabs in google to view them all.. But google rocks because of how it displays everything so nice.
But when i have 10 email accounts, I have to expand each email account and then click on inbox to view that account inbox, This is stupid. YES i know you can combine them all into one inbox. I don't want that. I just simply want the program to display the inbox that I click on without have to click on a tiny arrow. I cannot fathem how this hasn't been added already? Maybe it was removed? Either way, Can anyone show me how to achieve this result? Also if anyone wants to share if there is anyway to style the program so it doesn't look like Outlook from 2007, that would be great.
Mike.

No, That is combining them all into one Inbox, Which I do not want to do. Thanks anyways. But it seems this program does not do what i want it to anymore so I will find something else.

I use QuickFolders which allows you to create tabs, each one containing a folder. So your inboxes could appear as a row of tabs, each needing a single click to access its contents.
I also use saved searches to create composite views of multiple folders, one of which shows me all unread messages. Of course my saved search folders are also presented in QuickFolders tabs.
Thanks for replying, it is appreciated, How would i setup "Quick Folders" I honestly feel this should be added in the next update? It wouldn't be hard?
Do i have to set this up for each email? I have 10 emails in it so far, and if i have to do that for each email plus the other 10-20, I will just find another program that does what i want?
Coming from a programmers bacground it doesn't seem hard to implement, Just dick off the stupid useless screen that pops up when i click the account name.
I really have no idea... I leave Thunderbird folders open and they stay that way for years unless I change their state. So is this some weirdness caused by an add-on or are you running some security software that is deleting the session.json file between sessions. Something like ccLeaner?
Well i have more than 10 emails, and more to add so leaving them all open isn't an option.
IS this it? View menu (alt+V) > Folders > unified.

Why do you mean "anymore"? It certainly has not lost any functionality. However perhaps your power of description or ability to search the add-on web site may not be up to the task. I for one have no idea what your talking about, I doubt I am the only one.
No, That is combining them all into one Inbox,
No that is not. Sure there IS a combined view at the top, under which are all your inboxes one after the other. Click the account name in the list and see the inbox for that account.
A combined inbox is supplied by the global inbox, and as Zenos points out there are add-ons for other forms of display. Please do not go away saying some feature your unable to describe sufficiently for anyone to recognize has been removed, because I am sure it has not.
