I will have my AOL email up on my Firefox Browser and every so often the AOL email will just reset itself and say "you have mail", and close whatever mail I had open. If it was new mail it will put it in the old mail file. This is not happening when I open my mail in I.E or Google Chrome. I did get the AOL mail that went with Firefox. Would you know how to fix this?

Thanks,

Jim

Don't understand your reply. I'm trying to find out why my AOL keeps resetting with Firefox that has the AOL toolbar. My AOL mail does not do this on IE or Google Chrome.

The AOL toolbar - the AOL website itself, even - is probably making your computer sad. I can't even fathom using those ancient, horribly-made things. You should consider switching to a modern email provider.

If you really want to stick with AOL, you should contact their support.

I am also seeing the aol toolbar in the addons site is not flagged as compatible with version 35.

However when I tested the download from the aol toolbar download site it did not give me any issues with my aol mail. Perhaps a reinstall might provide a work around.
