I'm using a PC that has his my relative's old Thunderbird email account loaded on. He doesn't need it any more. How do I swap it over into my name?

I have taken over use of my elderly relative's PC (Windows 7). He had a Thunderbird email account set up but he will no longer need it. I have tried deleting the Thunderbird programme from the PC and then loading it up agaiun but my Uncle's memail account details are still there. Is there a simple way to change his account details over to one under my own name?
