So I went to tumblr. I went to a single particular page. This page immediately caused Firefox to crash. I have tried a factory reset, I have tried running in safe mode. I've updated everything. It continues to happen. No one I know who is using Firefox with the same version, has had this problem while visiting the page. I've also done virus scans which detected nothing.

Here is the latest crash report, there are about 12 more from today alone. a157139a-c7a5-433d-b380-262db2140912

That crash is related to mc_demux_mp2_ds .ax. http://registrynuke.com/dll-info/mc_demux_mp2_ds-ax-errors-fix For reference purposes only, not an endorsement of the "fix" - PC Error Fixer mentioned on that page. It's your choice whether to use that "fix" program or not.

That's a Windows System executable library file, and since a Bug report didn't come up in that Crash Report it isn't a common problem for Firefox users.

The "factory reset" of your operating system really should have fixed that file. Considering that it didn't my recommendation is to run a full, deep scan with your Anti-Virus application to see if that file comes up. Beyond that, you might want to get support from your Anti-Virus vendor or use their help / support forum.

As far as anti-virus, I've only got Mal-Ware Bytes. Any others you would recommend? Likewise, any other fixes you would recommend?

Also, as far as Anti-Virus stuff, AVAST, is it any good?

Also, CCleaner, any good, or something to be trusted?
