what i mean is....

if i click on a link in an email (Thunderbird), it doesn't just add a tab to the existing window, but opens a new one. what's even more frustrating is, if i navigate away from it, i can't get back.

that is, if i go back to Thunderbird while something i clicked in it loads, then go back to the aero icon, it shows only the pre-existing window, that one that opened via clicking a link in Thunderbird is mysteriously AWOL.

this is entirely frustrating.

i don't mean to be rude, but if i can't rectify it, i'm back to Chrome in the morning.

BTW, the Troubleshooting information extension doesn't work either.

Hi paradive, Thank you for your question. You filed a question under Firefox but are asking about Thunderbird. I understand that you are trying to open a link form an email in Thunderbird you expect it to open in the same window. Since Thunderbird and Firefox are different applications, the Thunderbird link is expected to open in a new Firefox window.

I hope this helps.
