why do videos freeze in Firefox?

I have a dopo tablet running jelly beam I downloaded Firefox as my browser. Is shows flash player s installed and had a you tube app from factory. YouTube vids play fine but movies/TV shows start fine run a minute or two then freeze, no buffering just stops. other vids just show as a black screen in player window and no controls. I have tried different sites all with the same result. any help would be much appreciated
