Was the email with Reagan.com shut down? Don't think so, I used it 2 -3 weeks ago, it will not work on this android phone

Nobody here would know what the status of your email account is. You should speak with your email provider if you have concerns about it being shut down. Try logging into your providers web-mail and check it's working.
If your web-mail access is working, please share details about the issue or error your observing in Thunderbird for Android. This gives us the best chance to help you.
In Thunderbird Android,
- Please navigate to settings > account name > fetching mail > incoming server.
- Click next
