Firefox for Android issue that only affects one website?

Liza Daniel

I'm trying to troubleshoot a strange issue on a website I manage. Everything works as expected in Chrome on Android, but in Firefox for Android some users report layout and image-loading problems that I haven't been able to reproduce consistently on my own devices. I've already checked caching, responsive design, and basic CSS issues, but the reports keep coming in. Has anyone dealt with a similar Firefox-specific issue before, and what ended up being the cause?

I've seen similar issues caused by image formats, lazy-loading settings, caching conflicts, or CSS that behaves slightly differently in Firefox compared to Chromium-based browsers. If possible, try testing with Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection disabled temporarily and check whether any extensions are affecting page rendering. Just curious, what type of project are you working on? Sometimes the overall setup and content structure can provide additional clues about what's causing the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's primarily a resource-focused project with guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting content. Most of the reports seem to be related to image rendering and page layout on Firefox for Android, which is why I'm trying to narrow down whether it's a browser-specific issue or something in the implementation. The project is [https://playwithyuzu.com/], and the issue doesn't seem to affect Chrome on Android, which makes it a bit more difficult to diagnose.

I took a quick look and one thing I'd check is whether the affected users are all running the same Firefox version or using similar privacy settings. I've seen cases where Enhanced Tracking Protection or aggressive content blocking caused images and page elements to behave differently than expected.

It might also be worth testing with image lazy-loading disabled on a few pages to see if the issue disappears. If the reports are inconsistent, there may be a specific device, Firefox version, or extension combination involved rather than a general site-wide problem.
