Thunderbird downloaded but sent mail appears at recipient as blank page?

All other functions working normally, including Received mail, I know this as I've had Thunderbird for some time now but had to re-download after computer re-build. At 'send' command a "Confirm" message box appears "There was a problem including the file :///C:/DOCUME~1/Tom/LOCALS~1/Temp/nsemail.htm in the message. Would you like to continue sending the message without this file" "Cancel" stops the message being sent, "OK" sends but at recipient, message arrives with who from, subject and virus footer but no content! Thanks,
