Hver gang jeg får mails i min indbakke så kræves det at jeg sletter dem ikke bare en gang, men to gange, før de væk fra indbakken. Tidligere har jeg kunnet slette en mail en enkelt gang - som i alle andre mailprogrammer - men nu skal jeg som sagt dobbelt - slette dem. Hvad kan jeg gøre for at annullere indstillinger om dobbelt - sletning. Kh Flemming

I was working with my own simple pop3 test server and noticed thunderbird also K-9 and even Gmail seem to send some unstandard commands to the server causing an error. FairEmail however works fine. The server is a simple pop3 for local testing can anybody explain why your email clients are not compatible with pop3 standards perhapse how you deviated from the standard?

Regarding replying previous email, I have tried several time to attach files or photos, but the app will be closed automatically. Do I need to do any settings for it?

However, for creating new email, there is no problem for attaching files.

I've recently downloaded thunderbird as I've been sick of outlook on Android for a long time. In general, I do prefer it a fair bit over outlook, however, the search function doesn't work at all.

Are there any workarounds for this or is it a bug that the Devs are in the process of sorting. I use the search function a lot with my emails, currently it's just not possible on Thunderbird at the moment.

Since a few releases, when composing a message and selecting text, the highlight color is invisible in light mode. In dark mode the highlight color is a light blue. Is there a way to change the highlight color in light mode? Thank you.

I like the platform but am frustrated that my inbound emails and inboxes are only retrieved every 15 minutes for it to check and synch? Can it be set up for immediate reveal of new messages and account synching?

I tried to connect to my personal outlook email account on a fresh installation of thunderbird mobile. The setup wizard gave the correct configuration as described in microsoft's official documentation. But the following error occured: Authentication unsuccessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Mailbox.

IMAP is enabled in microsoft's mail account settings on outlook.com.

I went out of the USA on May to Ecuador and Peru, and on the same day the Android version of Thunderbird stopped retrieving new email from the server. I have used Thunderbird pointed to the same server on Windows 11 and Android successfully for years. I thought it might be something to do with being out of the country, but now I'm back in the USA, and sync account on Android still does not retrieve new mail that has accumulated since May 4th. I've been following my email using a webmail access so I know there's lots of new mail. I've closed and reopened Thunderbird on the Android, and I've tried sync account with the webmail access closed. I have not yet tried Thunderbird on my windows 11 laptop because I'm still not home yet. Any suggestions welcomed, thank you for your help! Hi Folks, I use, as do others I know, Thunderbird for Android. Recently it has decided that the SSL Certificate it accepts for fetching emails is not valid for sending and requires you to accept and make an exception for the certificate. Has anyone else found this? I have tested the certificate, provided by Lets Encrypt, on several servers all claiming SMTP, POP3 an IMAP offer valid certificates. Yet Thunderbird still claims it is a security threat. Can omeone off an answer please? I am currently helping others accept the certificate.

How to set up mail verification in the app. I need it every minute. It costs at least 15 minutes. Ver. 18.0 In the web version, you can select starting from 1 minute.

I use Thunderbird Android with my private smtp account, now I want to use it with my outlook365 company account, but when I install, after loggin in it says "need admin approval". The admin can't find where or what to approve. I tried Microsoft help which gave me copilot, but it points me to non-existing settings.

Anyone knows how to configure Thunderbird Android with Outlook365?

Today I received a suspicious email from wilfred.bayer.lsr8a@sewjp.jolorvex.world. When I tried to forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk, it remained in the mobile app's Outbox and a message appeared as a notification: "Failed to send a message. Reject for policy reason." Then I took a screenshot of as much of the content as I could and attached it to a new email, sending it to the same address. This too remains in the Outbox. What is the problem?

Hello. I am trying to get Thunderbird Mobile to connect to my work e-mail. myname@ourdomain.com is hosted by Outlook. I have tried many times using the manual setup for the account. Every time I type in password at M/S I get

AUTHENTICATION ERROR. The server returned the following message:

AUTHENTICATION failed.

But when I check at mysignins.microsoft.com, it shows Successful Sign-in Thunderbird Android.

I have tried the Export to Mobile function from desktop, but the profile does not show as desktop's configuration only worked properly using the MICROSOFT E-MAIL EXCHANGE SERVER.

I went ahead and installed Outlook app on the phone so I could get my e-mail, but after only half a day, I hate Outlook. Please help me get T'bird working.
