I got an email, supposedly from Microsoft with an update on its terms, from a microsoft.com email address. I clicked on it and it went to a Captcha window. Trying to click on the items (in my case, bicycles in the pictures) triggered multiple warnings that my computer was under an attack and that seven viruses were reported, and I should re-up my subscription with McAffee. I had Trend antivirus enacted on my computer, but discovered the plan was ended by Best Buy and there was no update or way to continue it. I continued to get the notices and clicking on the recommendations to run scans and update McAffee continued to trigger notices of attack. I reactivated my McAffee program, rebooted my computer and opened with Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox. No notices of attack appeared. I ran Windows Update and learned my Windows Defender was current and a scan showed no viruses. The notices of attack only appear when I try to use Firefox. I tried to delete Firefox to see if reinstalling it would resolve the problem but it only allows me to "Refresh" Firefox. What is going on here?

l cannot access my saved passwords in firefox.wehn l open passwords, l am unabel to view or use my savwd passwords. please help me recover access to my saved passwords.

What the fuck did you do!!! your last update wiped out all my bookmarks for all my work and everything. who thought that was a GREAT IDEA should be fired!!!! What the fuck do I have to do to get them back and thank you for fucking up my life.

do know computers very well, have used firefox for all my web browsing, firefox kept crashing according to screen so it opened saved apparent older version and I lost all my bookmarks and passwords, please help

please tell me how to remove the fake virus warning pop ups, I have followed all the directions, but the remove website, & remove all website buttons are greyed out, how do I continue now with the removal of the pop ups?

after creating a new profile, and copying everything in the root directory to the new profile, including search.json.mozlz4, the default search engine setting does not get transferred over and is still set to google

Some shades of white have a purple tinge to them. The amazon logo, certain themes, and other websites are slightly purple. This is only an issue in firefox, not any other program or browser.

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. Everytime I load Firefox the bookmarks sidebar is not shown.

Navigating thus View => Sidebar => Bookmarks I can bring it up. It will stay visible for the whole of my browser session. However, after I've closed this session and started another. the bookmark sidebar is missing again.

How can I make the bookmarks sidr be available all the time?

FF 127.0.2 OS Windows 11 Pro v 24H2 Build(26100.994).

I don't know what happened, I haven't been tinkering with anything. This happens for every video, not just this one. I've also posted my addons as well, in case that helps with anything.
