A folder on the bookmarks menu that stroes individual bookmarks, fills half the screen of a standard 1080p screen with totally empty white space.

The padding in between each and every single bookmark, in any place that can store bookmarks, will be filled by at least 3 or 4 mm of empty white space. Between every single bookmark.

This is a huge amount of completely pointless scrolling.

Do you have an RSI? No?

Good for you. I, sadly do.

Has there been a fix for this cos the chrome folder .css "fix" is not working for me.

If i cant solve this i am going to change browsers. I dont care. I love Firefox and used it since the netscape days in the 90's, but am not going in for another surgery since you people insist of giving people more RSI's.

Dear Firefox Support,

I have recently reinstalled my operating system, migrating from Manjaro to Arch Linux. I have retained my config files, all is working well except the following (minor) issue: - The pinned sites at the New tab page seem to have their pins, - and the tab bar mute audio icon seems to be slightly misaligned.

I thought it had to do with some fonts missing from my system, but while I have presumably installed every font I had beforehand, the issue still persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I needed to remove and replace my Firefox browser. In the original browser, I had a list of items on top of the browser with several things including "Bookmarks" which I could access. Now that I have reinstalled Firefox, that listing is no longer there. If I am making sense, can you tell me how to get them back on top? Cy

My bookmarks have been removed from the bookmarks toolbar. I'm not sure how this happened or how to restore them. In the attached screenshot, you can see the bookmarks and their folders still exist under "Bookmarks Toolbar", yet they're gone from the toolbar itself. I'm not sure what to do next?

I have two monitors: Monitor 1 is Asus PG248QP(Run in 1920 x 1080 360hz landscape 100% scale) Monitor 2 is G272U Pro(Run in 4320 x 2160 60hz landscape 150% scale). I arrange them veritcally, monitor 2 on top and monitor 1 at the bottom.

When I minimize the non-fullscreen firefox window on the monitor 1, black/transparent border shows on the left, right, and bottom of the firefox window.

When I arrange two monitor horizontally, everything normal. I place monitor 1 at the left of monitor 2.

When I do this on the monitor 2, everything normal.

I have to use two monitors vertically, since I don't have much space.

I also tried different versions of firefox. for now, 129.0 to 136 has these problems. I have install chrome, brave, edge. None of them has this problem.

I've carried forward settings from long ago in my profile and I'm trying to figure out what my old settings are that control the scaling of the display. On older displays, I had made a point of using the native resolution for images to avoid blurring, and then changed font sizes to fit. In about:config I've found:

layout.css.devPixelsPerPx=1
layout.css.dpi=144

but copying those to a new profile gives me a tiny display on my higher-res screen. Changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx works as expected, but layout.css.dpi seems to be a red herring--changing it has no effect in old or new profile. I vaguely remember replacing it with something else after a design change, but I'm not finding it either in about:config or in my userContent.css. It must be something that applies to the page content and not the UI, because my old settings don't affect the menu text and I had to adjust that size in userChrome.css.

(I'm trying to figure this out to diagnose a problem with a web site at work, which doesn't compute the window size correctly with my settings and refuses to display a menu sidebar at my usual window width.)

Basically title.

Every time I close the browser and re-open it, the favicons disappear. I use the favicons to navigate to websites on my bookmark toolbar, but they're missing from my regular bookmarks, too.

I found an old thread that appeared similar, and the solution was to take a working copy of the favicons.db file and re-import it if it breaks (while the browser application is closed). However, this did not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is this font so small, I have tried everything so much so that I have the about.config on my bookmark tool bar, I have tried the extensions that do not work, zoom makes everything too big, increase the font on my desk top. When I go into the about.config ....To increase the font size in the Firefox address bar, you can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx setting in about:config or edit the userChrome.css file to apply custom CSS rules none of this works. as you can se from the picture the font is SUPER TINY!!! I have changed the setting on my computer for the desktop also and nothing.
