When trying to log on websites, I have to way a very long time for the website to open up. Many times, it will time out and I have to try again. I thought it was my internet connection, but when I go to a different browser like Chrome or Edge, the websites open up right away. How can I fix this problem?

Since the last upgrade Firefox is running very slowly. Many sites that I use daily either take so long to open or don't open at all. I have to open MS EDGE which opens up these sites within microseconds.

I prefer using Mozilla, but unfortunately looks like I may have to move as Firefox is now almost useless for me.

Can anyone suggest anything I could try.

thanks

Browser is useless with extensions, so wondering what is the point of persisting with FF?

151.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 64 bit, both up to date. With the 5 extensions that I have firefox is essentially unusable, taking in excess of 5 minutes to open a website. Considering the array of browsers available today (I could list 12 that are also installed on my device) and Mozilla seem to be hell bent on ignoring the fact that the browser is unusable with extensions (as indicated by the number of people highlighting issues, yet solution provided as opening the browser in safe mode with extensions disabled) why I, or anyone else that is using even one extension, persists with FF?

Well, the 7 minutes has passed and duckduckgo dot com has finally opened, so I shall be on my merry, strike that, miserable way.

Firefox 150.0.2 (64-bit)

After rebooting my computer, Firefox hangs for a very long time trying to access common websites such as cnn.com, facebook.com, mozilla.org and apnews.com. A google search will work, but the links (including the google control links at the top such "AI Mode All ... More Tools" are not active. Often there is a message at the botton of the screen indicating some external site is being accessed. During this time, other sites that do not have external references will quickly open in other tabs (bwi.com is a good example). After about 20 minutes, everything magically starts working correctly. Disabling "secure DNS" does not correct this problem.

Why does Firefox take so long to load my EBay pages? Chrome is almost instant...Firefox can take 10-15 seconds. When listing or editing 1000s of listings, this adds up to a LOT of time waiting?

I use both Firefox and Chrome with 2 separate EBay accounts so I don't to keep switching logins.

Firefox is very SLOW TO LOAD my EBay pages (like 10-15seconds). Chrome is almost instant.

Can you try and load an EBay page logged in as a seller and see WHY there is such a lag in loading.

I'm using a state of the art Win 11 Alienware machine on a 1 Gig internet. I've tried switching which account I log into and it's the same. So it's NOT the computer, the internet connection or the individual account.

Thanks!

The server at iso.scanfor.scanfor.be is taking too long to respond. iso.scanfor.scanfor.be is an unsecure (http) INTRANET site not publicly acessible (local server). At same time other browsers are perfectly able to access the site! So there is NO connection issue... This problem happens mostly in the morning, and solves itself during the course of the day  :)

Anyone any idea where to look for an issue???
