The recent update 149.0 introduced a new look to the error pages. Every single time the requested URL does not exist, a page's servers are down, or your internet is turned off, it shows an image of a fox biting a power plug. The image is no-connection.svg located in omni.ja (chrome://global/skin/illustrations/no-connection.svg). Such a location rooted in the files cannot be zapped by uBlock Origin. I tried to replace the image inside omni.ja using 7-zip, but it can't do so because the Mozilla Firefox folder is Read-Only, and keeps turning so despite me unchecking the Read-Only checkbox in properties. I tried looking for a variable in about:config, toggled svg.disabled from false to true, it didn't help. My goal is so that only text appears on error pages, and no images, like it was in the previous update. Ideally I would like to have the option to completely eliminate corporate artwork from my copy of Firefox. Help would be very much appreciated, because Firefox is my favourite browser by far

On Debian Linux, how can I make all text in Firefox BOLD - t'ab names, texts on Toolbars, text on web pages, everything?

When i downloaded Firefox yesterday i noticed my desktop icons the pictures changed to Firefox picture is there any way i can them back to the way they were before. Barbara Hudson.

on other webpages a black bar drops down from the bookmarks bar and blocks the top of the pages, how do i get rid of it? oddly on this page, the bar does not show up

I am using the latest version of Firefox, and the scroll bar only appears when I place my mouse over it. Then I have to use arrow keys to scroll up and down the page, and it disappears very quickly. Once the scroll bar disappears not even the arrow keys work. Is there a way to turn the scroll bar on so that it is always on and does not disappear? I need to be able to scroll with both the mouse and the arrow keys any time I want to without moving the mouse over to the scroll bar. The disappearing scroll bar is incredibly annoying, and I cannot find a category for it anywhere in the settings menu.

Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

Recently, something happened to my installation of Firefox (I do not know what happened) causing the search suggestions (I do not know the proper name of this feature, but if I am right I will be glad) to appear taller than they were before. This disturbs me (I do not know why). I would like to return the individual search suggestions to their original narrower size.

While the desktop and everything else except Firefox are normally readable, the letters on Firefox pages are mostly very skinny, and uneven. How can I get this back to normal?

I really enjoy using the recently added sidebar, but I want to put it away temporarily while watching videos. After some digging around, I finally found the simple keybind for expanding it (ctrl-alt-z). With the 'hide tabs and sidebar' option toggled, I'm able to open and close it at will, which is exactly what I wanted.

However, whenever I do this, the sidebar snaps to what I assume is its default size (picture 1). I usually use it at minimum size (picture 2,) such that only the icon of each tab shows. I tried to readjust it, but it seems to not snap to this size anymore unless I disable 'Hide Tabs and Sidebar.'

For now, I'm just going to temporarily toggle that setting on when I want it out of the way, and manually fix things later. But, is there a way I can have the best of both worlds? Can I make the 'default' the sidebar snaps to the minimum size I usually use from Picture 2?

Current behaviour in fullscreen mode: When I move my mouse to the top of the screen The tabs appear and the whole website content gets shifted down. It's ugly and distracting. Desired behaviour: The tabs appear as an overlay and part of the website content is hidden underneath them. No transitions.

What css js should I modify to achive this, any help? This prevents me from using firefox in fullscreen mode and saving space.

i need the 'home' button. it is not included in the 'customize' items so that doesn't work, as it is not actually there with the other items. please tell me how to get it. thanks. it's ridiculous working without one.

The latest Firefox update installed itself upon opening Firefox. It did not include my personalization. Specifically: - The color scheme was changed to from white to purple making the screens hard to read. - The right side window that had my bookmarks sorted into folders has disappeared. So, how do I get my color scheme and book marks menu back?
