I do not like the current Firefox. I am 'trying' to get my firefox the way it was in the previous session yesterday.

Monday 19th.

For some reason I click a tab this evening and I lost everything. Now it is a lavender color (ugg) and all my information, tabs, everything is gone.

Please help.

please refer to below attached images If i cntrl+f and try to find a string on the window, firefox highlights all the hits in a dark pink color and the scroll bar is not visible!! that is a issue isint it as a cannot find the scroller and hold it and scroll it up or down!

let me know please if there are any gaps in my explanation of the issue if there isint , please suggest/provide a fix

Recently I've noticed that some web sites are displaying text in very washed-out colours or on backgrounds of similar colour to the text. This produces a low contrast ratio and makes the text very hard to read. I tried setting the text colour in Firefox settings, but this seems only to affect text where the web site does not explicitly set a colour. Is there any way to ovcerridethe web site's choice of colour?

I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. The Proton VPN extension/add-on usage can override the Firefox language setting when it assigns a user to a node in another land. That land's language can suddenly become the default language one sees, and may remain in spite of trying to reset the Firefox language default. E.g., if one is assigned a VPN node in Japan, suddenly the general language one sees is Japanese, and it remains in spite of disabling Proton VPN and even after exiting and signing back in. The only alternative one has is to request a different node and then wait for the timeout (30 sec., 2 minutes, etc.) for another and hopefully understandable language/country node.

I raised this issue with Proton, and they maintain that loss of one's language proves that Proton VPN is working (see my response under ratings)

1. How does someone accept "working" VPN when one loses their ability to comprehend the displayed language? In my past experiences with other VPNs (NordVPN, etc.) they never corrupted my default browser language.

Unfortunately, Fusion does not work properly with the new Firefox. Firefox cannot be controlled using shortcuts such as H-headlines, E-input fields, B-button, insert+F7-link list, and insert+F6-heading list. Also, on most pages, you can't use Jaws controls like word-by-word reading or paragraph-by-paragraph reading, which is really limiting, especially with Outlook online. In Firefox 146, Jaws usually only recognizes the whole email as an image, and reading aloud only works if you use the mouse and navigate line by line, which is really hard if you're visually impaired. Since I don't want to give up Firefox permanently and am forced to switch to another browser, I am trying to get feedback to see if a solution can be found in the future so that I can continue using Firefox. Hi I use VoiceOver on my Mac to type quickly and it is integral for my day-to-day tasks. However, I encounter an issue when using certain commands to make selections and subsequent corrections to things I type in a text field.

A brief explanation of VoiceOver I am having issue with I speak "select previous word/sentence/paragraph" etc. (anything that isn't x letters) the command is not executed properly.

To be completely honest the commands are unpredicatble and more often than not select commands do not work.

So if I am searching something on google and VoiceOver mistypes or mishears something I need to manually go back and correct it, this is a big accesibility issue and it's a shame because I love firefox, however this is a major accesibility issue for me.

Using your Firefox browser is become less and less likely due to so many issues now starting to compound given being forced to use Windows 11.

Whenever trying to upload images to Blue Sky and as of today, images to articles published on LinkedIn, I'm being forced to use any browser except Firefox.

For some reason, Firefox is not allowing image to be posted whether copied and pasted or uploaded, as once I do that the images all turn black.

Recently affecting downloading PDF files from LinkedIn also... though once saved, thankfully the PDF us usable.

Previous issues were how I could no longer access ChatGPT using Firefox.

Now it is my fear that Firefox is no longer keeping up with the massive changes that are happening.

Please fix?

I use a screen reader and thus do not use a mouse. The only instructions in the mozilla knowledge base for how to generate strong passwords via the mozilla password manager are mouse specific. After much messing around, I figured out a solution.

Animation triggers my migraines.

Many, many, many websites trigger zooming animation on mouseover. I can reduce the frame rate to help deanimate this, but I would rather not animate it at all.

On the whole, I think it'd be easier to block all these effects. How can I do that in Firefox?

I'd prefer to still see where links would lead without clicking on them. And I'd prefer to get tooltips working, but I increase mouse cursor sizes, so they're already broken.
