I am having trouble signing into some of my web sites. This problem just started. I have tried everything even uninstall and re-install. Nothing works. What do I need to do?

Can't enter text into body of post, ghosted (title allows me to type) on select sites (Kodi.tv). Changed to Chrome no issue. win10/64/FF 148

Strangeness... seem to be able to type post title, but not message body in all the forum threads. trying to post gives me an error and I am loggged in. Just re-installed Firefox.. no issues on other sites, the text body is ghosted... but not the title bar. At this point;  I'm locked out of messaging in the forum. (edited)

Installed Chrome and I'm back alive! Guess the new FFox is the issue? (edited)

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I like it very much.

Problem: I received an outlook email with a link to a Docusign envelope. The link would not connect with Docusign.

Work Around: When I used another browser, Microsoft Edge, the link opened up right away.

Additional Information: I use another digital signature program, Dotloop, and it works without any issues on Firefox.

Question: What can I do to make sure that Docusign works properly on Firefox?

I love Firefox and NEVER use Safari. I thought something had happened to my MacBook Air, stuck space bar or maybe even a virus? BUT the space bar issue doesn't occur when I use Safari. The issue is this: I will use Firefox (for everything). All of a sudden, the space bar becomes "engaged" and my text starts scooting across with spaces between it. I can hear it "stutter" a sharp sound each time it lurches along. I can then open up a word doc and the thing follows me there. Or when trying to close an unsaved word doc to prep for closing the computer. I restart the computer and to begin with, the spacebar issue is resolved but before long (sooner and sooner) it begins again to the point that I am restarting my computer now within about five minutes. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox to no avail. BUT, I can use other programs without problem as long as the problem hasn't already begun again, via Firefox. What on earth? I am now stuck using Safari... I have the most recent Firefox installed. I just re-installed the program a second time, yesterday. I don't want to open the program or I'll end up turning it off and on again and lose all of this but it was updated as of yesterday but I keep up on all the updates, all the time. It's been going on...about 4 weeks? But it started with occurring maybe once a week, then once a couple days now to the place it is multiple times to constant, during a day. I cannot use Firefox until this is resolved. Thank you for whatever help you can offer. I've run the diagnostic /first aid stuff to no avail through my utilities.

How can I disable various Firefox usage hints? I've uploaded an example of one of these hints associated with the List all Tabs button. This hint pops up every time I start Firefox. There are other hints like the attached that appear from time to time.

This doesn't appear to be a bug. During a recent Firefox update, I believe I either checked a box to show me these hints or I failed to uncheck the appropriate box. I haven't figured out how to discontinue these hints (via Internet search, Firefox support search, or me poking around in Firefox settings).

I'm running desktop Firefox on Windows 11 Home, version 10.0.26200 build 26200.

How do I get the full url line of where I am currently on the homepage back for the search line, or the old full browser line? Have been looking in settings and haven't located it.

About ready to leave firefox over it, and been here for years.

Attempted to update FF using the 140.2.0esr.msi file. During install it asked for a location of bookmarks (seemed off, like a new install) so the process was stopped. All FF profile files appeared to have been untouched based on their dates. So the following directories: \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\oeg1ubpo.default-esr \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\oeg1ubpo.default-esr where both copied to a secondary directory as a safety precaution. Install was restarted and it appears to have again installed a new version with no bookmarks, extensions or password DB carried forward from the previous install, which is not what I wanted.

Can this be corrected, by moving the copied profile back in.

please allow me to stop firefox for making tab groups. I already checked the setting "Use AI to suggest tabs and a name for tab groups" but you don't have a setting that eliminates tab groups altogether. these tab groups keep popping up and messing up my tab organization. thank you

Hi, for about the last week (23 Feb 2026) when watching videos in my Firefox Browser, there are short stutters. First noticed in Youtube, so looked for updates to UBO and other extensions. Then noticed the same thing in BBC iPlayer and my4 streaming. It also happens when watching my media via Plex in the browser. It is not my network bandwidth or speed.

When I watch media via my Plex app or videos on VLC media player, there is no stutter.

I use Firefox as my desktop (and phone) browser. Recently my desktop cannot open my USBank Online banking service (my Android Firefox phone browser works fine). The USBank customer technical service agent tells me that their software does not recognize the Firefox browser - he says that AVG Secure, Microsoft Edge , and Google Chrome work fine). How do I rectify this without changing browsers? I've used Firefox for opver a decade without trouble. Help!
