FF3.6.13 on Mac 10.6.6 takes 2.5 min to load particular page; FF3.6.13 on XP on same machine (parallels) takes less than 1 sec. Safari on mac takes less than 1 sec. What to do?

I can run firefox off my laptop from either Mac OS X or XP (using Parallels). With the mac version, the page below takes 2.5 min to load whereas it is instant in XP. Safari loads the page instantly - also in the mac. I have restarted FF, I have rebooted, I have cleared the cache. What might cause the problem and can I correct it? bmw

Now, approx 19 hrs later, the problem is gone. The page loads fine in FF, at least right now. FF was open over night, the MacBook Pro asleep. The problem had persisted at least a week and I timed it two, perhaps three times.

Added another 19 hrs later: OK, the problem is back...... Safari fine, Firefox more than 2 min loading-time.

I am still very interested in understanding the basis for this -

This problem has continued for me as well (exact same setup as listed above with macbook pro, os, firefox version). This is really annoying and I would love some assistance.

I gotta be honest, this problem has drove me to another internet browser that is not near as good as firefox, but it loads pages faster (chrome).

Thanks in advance. Chais
