My send button has disappeared. I have read numerous answers on how to get it back, but I am using a MAC and pressing ALT or F10 does not bring anything up.
I have read numerous answers on how to get it back, but I am using a MAC and pressing ALT or F10 does not bring anything up relevant to Thunderbird. Pressing F10 mutes/unmutes my computer, holding down the ALT key and then pressing F10 brings up a Mac toolbar volume/sound settings, but unrelated to Thunderbird. I have included a screen shot of what happens when I press ALT F10.
This is my work computer and I am a total Mac novice. Please help me.

Mac already have the menu visible. So no pressing alt or F10.
Knowing the differences in window layouts mac to window will also probably help you a lot, as almost all instruction are written for Windows. kb.mozillazine.org/Menu_differences_in_Windows,_Linux,_and_Mac
No, my Mac does not have the menu visible. This is my whole problem? I have included another attachment that shows what comes up when I compose a new message. There is no option to send, and no option to attach a document. There used to be. Now there is not.
Does the new message window look the same when you run in safe mode? Hold Option when you launch TB.
In the meantime, Command+Return is the shortcut for Send Now.
