I have the same Problem as described in the Question 'Firefox 57: Problem with playback of video: Distorted colors'.

Aftre doing a REFRESH (as suggested in the solution to the above question) Firefox starts ok and the video is playing correctly.

When I close Firefox and start it again, the problem is back again. Doing again a 'REFRESH' solves the problem - until in close Firefox and start it again.

Chosen solution

Updating the Driver for the graphics card resolved the issue.

If you are interested in details: Originally Reported Information from Device Manager: AMD Radeon - R7 M265DX - Driver Version: 13.350.1009.1001

Driver update from the Device Manager came back with the message: "Installed driver is the newest one"

Update with the AMD updater done, now Device Manager reports: AMD Radeon - R7 M260 - Driver Version: 21.19.519.2

and NO, I did not change any HW.
