Unable to change Thunderbird default font size

more options

I have followed the instructions provided here: https://support.mozilla.org/tn/questions/1397110

1. Keep settings in Settings>Composition at default (medium) 2. In Settings>General>Fonts & Colors>Advanced, change Latin Proportional and Monospace to 22 3. In Settings>General>Fonts & Colors>Advanced, change Other Writing Systems Proportional and Monospace to 22

The fonts in my messages are still tiny. What is the 2025 solution please?

Thank you!

Did you uncheck 'Allow messages to use other fonts'?

It is checked. I tried unchecking it, setting all of the fonts to 26 point, checking it again. The fonts have gotten a little larger in some of my emails, I think.

It is still small. What is the correct procedure or combination of settings?

The settings in TB are in pixels, so 26px is equivalent to 20pt. The correct setting depends on the OS display settings, the monitor resolution etc.

You can also adjust Font Size from the 3-bar menu, but that affects all fonts.

Ah, I did miss the "px" there rather than "pt". Thank you for your help!
