After gateway restart, Firefox is blank except for non-functioning search bar. All other apps and browsers ok.
My gateway had to reboot for tv issue. Everything came back as normal except for Firefox. It shows a blank page with only a search bar that does not function. Other browsers and programs work. Should I uninstall and re-install Firefox? This is the first time this has happened as I have had this browser for many years.

I was able to uninstall and reinstall Firefox using Uninstall Wizard. Did not lose settings and favorites. Back to normal now.

Windows 10. Firefox 96.0.3 Have not tried in safe mode. Will try.
What security software are you running? Users are having issues with Webroot. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1367248
Only option is holding Shift while starting Firefox. Same result.
Using Avast. Also been using for years with no issues.
If I uninstall and reinstall, will I still have my favorites settings after signing in?
You should export your bookmarks. Sync is not a back-up service, but you can run another version of Firefox. Sync will see it as another device and you can then sync your data to the other version of Firefox. see screenshot
