mouse keys drop boxes

Suddenly my right click mouse button doesn't work with dropdown boxes (so for example above when I needed to select the topic I had to use my arrow key) .The choices, or different logins pop up for a second but I can't select one. This happened suddenly last week. Only in firefox and it's pretty annoying. What has been changed? thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I was checking the firefox update history and I am certain it started after the most recent firefox update.
