Why can't you export DATA as well as book-marks?

more options

If there is a simple way to export data please let me know because all I see is the ability to export book-marks. Am I the only one who would like to be able to export my browser settings and passwords to another computer? No, I'm not talking about "syncing" to a mobile device, I'm talking about a regular computer. And no, I'm not talking about exporting to Internet Explorer or Edge. I'm simply wanting to export to Firefox on another machine. Most people these days have 2 or more computers....

Here are a couple of support articles that explain how to get your Firefox data files from one Firefox Profile to another Firefox Profile.

Best to do from Firefox 55 to Firefox 55 if your Firefox installation is up to date on the target Profile. Or from Firefox 54 to just about any older version, within reason.

Firefox 55 has modifications done to the the storage of favicons for bookmarks which makes for a slight compatibility issue; but the worst which could happen (IMO) is that you would lose the favicon data, which isn't a big issue due to the automated bookmark backup routine not handling favicon data so it's common for that 'data' to get lost.
