I used the "refresh firefox" feature and all my saved passwords and logins are gone. How do I restore them?

I had not used the master password feature, but I did have firefox remember my usernames and passwords. I don't know how to restore them to my profile.

Hi, that shouldn't happen. Look on your desktop for a folder named Old Firefox Data, and see near the bottom of Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

Thanks for the response, but that link doesn't help. I did those steps, but my logins and passwords are gone. It shouldn't happen, but it did. It says I can restore things using the file on my desktop but it doesn't explain how. I have no idea where to place the files in old Firefox data
