I get this error everytime i try access www.gamestop.com. I have tried clearing cookies, cache, safe mode, firefox, chrome, IE, ive tried on 2 phones 2 computers and a tablet. Same issue, i can access the mobile site, but not the desktop on any of those devices. I tried alot of trouble shooting things before i got here this is kind of last resort of sorts. I called gamestop they said at first its a serverside error not my fault than they could access the site and told me its on my side, ive done everything short of completely uninstalling firefox, which i guess ill try next if all else fails.

Another thing i just noticed, i can get the desktop site to work using my mobile data but nothing when using my cable at home, ive reset my modem and no changes.
Hmm, it does sound as though something in the path through your router and service provider is causing this problem.
I think that message is thrown up by a filter, perhaps designed to prevent attacks on or improper use of the site. Two thoughts:
(1) Your router might be stripping some information the site requires, for example, identification of your browser and operating system, also known as the "user agent" string, or it could be modifying some information in a way that the site is allergic to. If you access my test page here, does anything seem unusual in the top section:

(2) Your IP address might be in a range of banned addresses due to problems originating from it in the past. But it would be weird if the filter allows access to the mobile site and only blocks access to the desktop site.
Unusual? Can you elaborate on that? I see text and everything just fine, nothing seems to be odd looking about anything on the page. Im going to try and flush my dns again and see where i get with that

For example, the red text for user agent matches your version of Windows and Firefox, and the referring page was the page where you clicked the link (links in email might not show a referring site).
It all seems correct to me
Gamestop.com seems to be the ONLY site im having an issue with too, which is odd.
I flushed my dns, restarted, restarted the modem, i even uninstalled firefox entirely, tried it on IE and same error, the site was working perfectly last night, woke up this morning to check on an order and that error is all i get now
These things usually clear up eventually, but since the error messages are so uninformative, it's hard to suggest any way to speed that up or work around it, other than the method you already discovered of connection through a different router/service provider.
I guess ill just try to hang with mobile network and hope it sorts itself out, as i said this just started today, no changes were made to any settings over night, while i was asleep. No new programs, didnt download anything. Very strange, and it happens as i said across all devices, all browsers that use my cable internet
