Hello, Seems that after the last update when I go to some websites at times the tab thinks its still loading until I stop it. This is happening on both of my Macbook Pros which are about 6 yrs apart age wise. I kept thinking it would stop doing this but that hasn't happened. Secondary browsers work fine. Open to suggestions. Also some AI usage trackers slowly stopped working but I can't image that's related. Thanks

I know Firefox is slow when opening Facebook. It's busy blocking all their crap. But recently it's been super slow and non-connective to many sites I visit often. I've Ookla checked my connectivity and their excellent. Logging into sites I've visited before is now taking a long time some having to be resent. IE: www.clevelandclinic.org, local government sites etc.

Hello, I am having a problem with Mozilla Firefox on Windows 10.

Firefox sometimes keeps loading continuously and some websites do not open properly or take a very long time to load. My internet connection is working normally, and the same websites may work better in another browser.

I have tried closing and reopening Firefox, restarting my computer, and refreshing the website, but the problem still happens.

Please help me check what may be causing this problem and how I can repair or reset Firefox without losing my bookmarks, passwords, and important data.

Hi! I have been using Firefox for quite some time, and as of yesterday I have encountered a problem. Any site I try to watch video on, be it Twitch, Youtube, etc., the videos now pause every 1-2 seconds to buffer for 4-5 seconds. The progress bar at the bottom of the Youtube videos will say they are loaded well passed the point its stopping to "buffer" at, and this is only occurring on Firefox, I have tested other browsers and am not encountering this issue. Troubleshoot mode also doesn't change anything, and neither does private browsing.

Recently the New York Times web site has slowed to a crawl on Firefox. Other web sites load quickly. The New York Times web site loads quickly on Chrome. This is the case on both a desktop and a laptop. I am running Firefox version 153.0 on Windows 11 on a PC. What could be the problem, and what might be the fix?

Why is Firefox so terribly slow especially on Facebook? I've been using it for many years and it's never been as slow as it is now!!! This is not progress, but decline...

I use nyt.com to assess my account with Firefox. lately, it has been very slow to load and when i click on an article, it is very slow to load.

I am currently in Dubai, UAE, and I am experiencing extremely slow speeds on YouTube when using the Firefox browser with a VPN.

Everything was working fine about two hours ago, but suddenly the speed dropped so much that I can no longer watch videos. Even when they do load, they start buffering after only a minute.

I rely on Firefox entirely for my business. I'm really concerned that Firefox is become choked up - it is really slow to load pages. Am desperate to get it cleaned up ('serviced' so to speak) but am finding it difficult to get simple instructions to do this myself. Where can I get expert help?

I find that my desktop browser firefox is very slow or doesn't work at all on a lot of websites like amazon or fortnine.

My internet connection and computer are not the issue: 270Mbps (wired connection) Processor AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.70 GHz) Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable) Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (16 GB) Storage 3.58 TB of 10.92 TB used System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor (Windows 11)

My old PC and my mobile phone runs these website fine.

Sometimes the website will work for a moment, but stop and just load for ever after I open a new tab or clink a link. My task manager doesn't show any ethernet usage despite the tabs indicating they are trying to load. Refreshing the tabs does nothing and no matter how long I leave them they don't load. All my drivers, OS and programs are up to date. I have disabled my enhanced tracking protection and I don't have any adblockers. I have tried using the CMD "ipconfig -renew" and using ccleaner to clear out my cookies and cache but, nothing seems to have any lasting effect.

I am losing my mind trying to fix this. Why can I not browse the internet on my PC?

Any help on this would be amazing and much appreciated.

I have been user of Firefox for many years now, always setting up as default browser and in early times even uninstalling Edge, but within the last year i see more and more websites getting sluggish in firefox, Sites that dont fihish to load, blank pages, opening links taking long time. Facebook, ebay, amazon and many online stores are getting worse by the day

At the same time i open Edge and it fly, no sluggish nor blank pages, no delays

I dont like edge, i am not interested in using it

Is there a bunch of settings i can tweak to make Firefox more fluid in those websites?

Firefox (152.0.4, 64-Bit) security settings – whether intended or not – are blocking work on the Internet. For example, loading Amazon takes forever until it’s unreachable, and further browsing (scrolling often not possible). The same with Edge works without any problems. What do I need to do to work quickly without constant blocks? Is there a zero setting? With simple security settings? The issue seems related to https to http as well. Also, opening a private new window once works, but a second window is blocked.

Hi, i'm running a ryzen 5 desktop on Linux Mint 22.3 x86_64 with no ssd so it's a little slow to load firefox 152.0.1 (64-bit) after boot. I find that occasionally the tab i am loading timesout, and if i refresh i lose the page. I have a keyboard macro to work around the issue. I lost the code for it, but iirc it works by entering this combo alt-d, ctrl-c, ctrl-v, enter that is to say if I copy the url to the buffer and re-enter it, the page will load, but will not load from the current page.
