You might find the support article "Remove recent browsing, search and download history" should help.

For Android, it's a bit different. The article (Clearing cookies, private data, history, and settings in Firefox for Android) seems a bit out of date, unless your menus are different on ICS/JB than what I have in Gingerbread.

Try:

menu > Settings > Privacy > Clear Private Data

If you uncheck everything except "Form & search history" and clear just that, does it remove what you want to remove?
