Since an update a few days ago, I have been unable to get the Hotmail login screen using FIrefox. I can connect to Hotmail using IE though. Whether I type in the url or choose it from the drop down history menu all I get is a blank screen, no boxes to enter username or PW. The only way I can get into my hotmail is through IE. TIA for any help.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
