.... The reports both link to this related bug:

Bug 530074 - Crash [@ StrChrIA from winsock and shlwapi.dll (LSP, evil *x86.dll module, or BitDefender)

It looks like the problem is with BitDefender 2013 which may be incompatible with your installation of Firefox 14.0.1 and/or your installed extensions.

Try this first: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems .... and it that doesn't help, see if temporarily disabling or uninstalling BitDefender resolves the crashes. If it does then contact BitDefender support. Related BitDefender forum thread:

Installing Firefox 15 Beta was reported as the solution for Firefox 14 crashes with BitDefender, here:

I'll look into it. for right now I've started to use pale moon. But i'll look into firefox 15.

After having the same kind of problem on firefox 13 I decided to use chrome instead... bad idea :P now I'm back and still getting the same crashes, usually when I multitask, watch youtube or something similar.
