can I set email to show as read when I click on the email
I had to reinstall Windows 11 and I imported from a zip file . When I click on a new email it use to show as a read. Now I have to double click.

I was not showing the actual email message in the right panel. Now, when I click the email once and the message appears in the right panel, it shows as read.

There is a setting for that at settings>general under "Reading & Display' section
I set "Mark as read automatically at display," and that did not do anything. Also, there is a green dot to the left of unread messages, which I had not seen before updating to version 152.
Do you open messages in the message pane or in new tabs ?
When I hover over a new email and click it once, it does not change to indicate it as read. I have to click twice to show the actual message; then it shows as read. This seems to have changed in the new version. Previously, I just had to click it once, and it would then indicate it as read. Without reading the actual message, what settings do I need to change to revert to the original way?

Hi. Gary. Can you please explain exactly what you did? What were you displaying differently before that you could see but not single click on, and what did you actually change to effect the fix? Thanks,
