FireFox VPN does not load any websites

I have enabled the new built-in FireFox VPN, but when I use it I can no longer navigate to any web pages. This occurs either if I type in a URL (with or without https://) and also when I try to follow links in a document already open. As soon as I turned the VPN off, my browsing returns to normal.

Do you have an example of a website that does not work when using the VPN?

When I tried to use it I could not access: cbc.ca slashdot.org bbc.com ... any website that I tried. The "loading" symbol would spin for a second and then nothing would happen, but the UI was responsive. I could put in another address and the same thing. If I clicked an on-screen link I would still not get any activity.

As soon as I turned the VPN off the browser would work as expected.

I've tried this on a second computer and the VPN appears to work correctly there.
