Either password was rejected or username was rejected or both or you are using the wrong server settings to access the email server used by Vernon.ca

Are you actually trying to send using the same email address which is mentioned as failed? Do you have more than one email address/mail account that accesses that server? You should have one smtp per email addess/mail account listed in the Account Settings > OutGoing Server (SMTP). If you have more than one account then you need to check that each mail account is using it's own smtp.

In Thunderbird, access Account Settings > Outgoing Server (SMTP) - select the relevant smtp so info displays below. Then upload an image to the forum.

Logon to the webmail account via a browser. This will prove your username/email address and Password are correct. Did you manage to get access to webmail?

It's also possible you lost internet connection or server is deliberately blocking you. If you have enabled a VPN then switch it off. Soe Anti-Virus products now offer VPN and some people have discovered it was auto enabled. So please double check it.

It's also possible the server was down or having maintenance. GoDaddy uses the secureserver.net I checked this: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/secureserver.net.html Secureserver.net Server Status Check It says Secureserver.net is DOWN for everyone. It is not just you. The server is not responding...

However, it does seem to have had trouble for longer than I would expect, so maybe there is another reason for it not recognising it. GoDaddy Status says all is OK, but some work had been done recently: https://status.godaddy.com/
