Help! I seem to have made 2 Thunderbird email accounts and cannot get my old one back
I seem to have made 2 Thunderbird email accounts, cannot delete one and cannot go from imap or pop3 on my existing original one.

Open Tools/Account Settings, select the account you wish to remove, then Account Actions, Remove Account. You can't remove the default account, so select another account, Set as Default, then Remove Account for the first account.
To change an account between POP and IMAP, you have to add the account again:
