Hi, I'm using Trello which is a task manager and allows you to store files which it displays with a link.

We have a set of emails for a task, and we saved each email as a *.eml file and added it to Trello. However when you click on the link in Trello, FF wants to launch Thunderbird on my desktop, and on my mobile, FF wants to download it.

Is there a preference where I can tell FF to display the email within FF? Maybe an add-on if FF can't handle email format? I couldn't find one when I searched though :(

Hi Adam, please ignore the spam message promoting an unofficial phone number.

No. Firefox doesn't handle the *.eml file type, which is why Firefox wants to open Thunderbird if it is installed. And when Thunderbird is not installed on the operating system Firefox will ask the user how to handle that *.eml file, or will default to wanting to save that file.

Sorry, I am unaware of a WebExtension for Firefox for handling *.eml files, and I am not familiar with Trello. Perhaps a Trello support forum or knowledge base would have an answer for you.
