I can only send 5 emails a day with Thunderbird using mail.com [not g.mail] as the outgoing server. When i email thru mail.com website there's no limit to the numbers of outgoing emails.

Some providers limit messages when sending through their SMTP server. Most do not have a limit when going through their webmail site because it does not use the SMTP server. Thunderbird does not set limits. Email providers do. Discuss this with them.
