Sharing Data When Posting A Thread
1a. After posting a question, does clicking the 'Share Data' green box display my OS and Firefox Version details on the right side of the thread OR does the forum software automatically 'detect' these settings and display them automatically?
1b. Once the System Details have been displayed, can they be 'hidden or can the info in each box be deleted manually and the changes saved??
2. Once a thread has been posted (but no one has replied), why can't it be deleted under 'Edit?

1a) The data tells us about your system and Firefox. No Personal Information Is Collected.
1b) No. This information can sometimes help solving your problem, or show other problems.
2) The only thing you can edit is one of your own posts. Only a moderator/administrator can remove anything.
Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;
Installed Plug-ins
Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.2.4.194
Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.2.5.195
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape: Adobe Reader Version Version 2015.020.20039 Note: Other Software is offered in the download.
Some data like the user agent is automatically detected and shows in the System Details list. Plugins can also be detected via navigator.plugins object (try this in the Web Console). If you click share data then your troubleshooting information data is added.

1a) I understand ;what; clicking Share Data does but is my system and Firefox info only displayed by clicking 'Share Data' OR does the forum software automatically 'detect' these settings and display them automatically?
2. I checked Add/Remove Programs but only Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.2.5.195 is listed. However, under Firefox 'Add-Ons Managers,' both Shockwave version 194 and 195 are listed.

Some is detected, but not all of it.
FredMcD:
I ran the Shockwave Uninstaller from Adobe's website and it deleted version 195 from Add/Remove Programs (it was the only version listed) but Firefox's Add-On Manager still shows 'Shockwave For Director' versions 194 and 195.
What steps do I take?
