Did you create a backup of your Thunderbird profile prior to the upgrade to Win10? If not, why?

actually no. i see all the files under windows.old. I guess my question now is how do I get that back to current?

Create a new profile and copy the old one underneath windows.old over it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird#Create_a_new_profile_and_copy_the_old_one_over_it
