Most of the times after the release of a new Firefox version, add-ons may become incompatible. It's up to the developer to address these issues and update it accordingly. thanks for the help. went to real player and they suggested installing Realplayer v16, which i have done and the downloader now works. Good, helpful reply. Thanks
