Question about VPN

The way you use VPN is you can either have it turned off, or turned on with exceptions you can put in a list. I'd like to be able to do the opposite, have it mostly turned off, except for some websites that require one to view. This is a QoL feature I would like in a future update.

I found a Mozilla Connect post about this: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/vpn-enable-for-specific-tabs-only/idi-p/121219 You can upvote it and maybe add a comment if you want to support the idea. support.mozilla.org is for asking for help with tech issues, Mozilla Connect is where Firefox admin and devs receive feedback and ideas.

While frontend of this feature is limited right now, you can configure it in about:config. It is explained in bug 2014732.

Cheers guys, appreciated! 👍

Hi,

Thank you all! As a moderator, I'm going to mark TyDraniu's reply as a solution to highlight it for other users. Mark's reply makes much sense too, though!
