I’m using Firefox to access different websites that provide online calculators and tools. Some of these tools ask for my location or use my city to calculate a result.

I’m not sure how Firefox handles this information. Does Firefox allow websites to access my location, and will it always ask for my permission first? Also, can I check or change which websites are allowed to use my location?

I’d like to understand how this works before allowing a website to use my location.

I have a "Marvel Unlimited" account at marvel.com and generally use it daily in Firefox, in Windows 11.

Starting this afternoon, the site logs me out immediately--after the standard login procedure, the site shows my username for a moment, looking like I'm logged in normally--then it refreshes and goes back to showing the "LOG IN" button--and I'm logged out.

This problem isn't happening in the Chrome browser--I'm able to stay logged in there just fine.

For Firefox, I've tried clearing site history for marvel.com, restarting the browser, updating the browser (there was actually an update! : ), rebooting Windows 11, turning off all Firefox browser extensions, and turning off Firefox's advanced tracking protection--all to no avail: Firefox just won't stay logged in on marvel.com all of a sudden!

Not having trouble staying logged in to any of my other regular sites, just marvel.com.

I asked on the Marvel Unlimited Discord server if other Marvel Unlimited users were experiencing this problem in Firefox; two users checked and said their Firefox browsers have just started logging them out as well.

This computer works fine with Firefox, but on my other one it opens to Sorry, we're having trouble getting your pages back. I don't want them back. But Ok, I'll go along with you. Try Start New Session: just buffers. View Previous Tabs? Can't remove the checks. Just buffers. I end up either shutting it down myself through Task Manger (no other way works) or waiting for the popup that Firefox isn't working, what do I want to do? I can't close it with the X. Restarting and shutting down then turning on the computer again didn't do any good.

I had this problem a few months ago, but not as severe. Hard booting worked, and as long as I specifically exited Firefox at the end, with the drop down menu, I could use Firefox. Now I can't use it on my other computer, which is where I prefer to work. I have to use something worse.

I am not receiving the codes to activate 2 steps authentication. I tried to a few time but in vain. I have whitelisted in our system accounts@firefox.com email address and also added it as a contact but still the same. Is there any other ways I could get this to work?

When using Firefox to access Netflix the video is distorted/greyed out in HDR mode, but displays properly using Microsoft Edge. None of my other streaming services experience this issue. How do I get Firefox to properly display Netflix in HDR mode?

I'm not able to view documents after being downloaded, extremely weird never did that before, plus the website I usually use is now all weird and different, I'm having to use Microsoft Edge which I dislike, so I would just like to reset it.

I have tried this on three different computers and last week it was working fine now I can't sign into my account on my new computer because I'm not getting a single mozilla confirmation email.

Not a single one. It's not been blacklisted or filtered or in my spam folder.

My passwords have failed to sign me in to a Microsoft email account and Facebook multiple times. The passwords I have tried to use are the exact same ones that are stored in the Passwords section at the upper right side of the Firefox page. I have also tried other options like pass key but nothing worked.

When trying to watch a Video it buffers and won't load. While it's buffering I can click on another tab and then it will load. Youtube mostly. If I switch to another browser I don't have this issue. Why?

Since I switched my main browser to FireFox, I cannot log in to my Facebook account. It said
