WHERE IS THE OPTION TO SYNC AND SAVE DATA

more options

Where tf is the sync and save data button on Firefox Android v 142.0

I am trying to sync with my desktop and there's no option under the menu for sync. The instruction given when I try to sync is to click the menu, go to "sync and save data" and scan a qr code. Of course the code doesn't work from my camera like every other qr code in the universe. It has to be scanned in the Firefox app but there's nowhere in the app to do this.

It's not in settings. It's nowhere.

Where is it, I REALLY REALLY NEED TO SYNC so that I have access to my bookmarks on my phone.

This shouldn't be complicated or difficult where is it???????? :( This is ridiculous.

The menu is being redesigned, in theory you should see one of the following:

(A) Old vertical style

When viewing a web page

New tab, Bookmarks, History, Downloads, Passwords, Extensions, Sync and save data, then a horizontal separator.

After you are signed in, "Sync and save data" changes to your user name.

(B) New wide style

The "Sign in" item is below the row of four buttons for History, Bookmarks, Downloads, Passwords. After you are signed in, instead of saying "Sign in" it shows your user name.

Your answer doesn't solve her actual problem...which is that there is no way to sync the tab between devices. Also it doesn't take long to edit the instructions and include in parenthesis that the "Save and Sync Data" becomes your loggin ID after it "syncs" via QR code. I too am having issues with this mess and mine is that the tabs aren't being sent to my android phone from my desktop firefox. I'm already logged in, synced, and everything else is working on the new phone (Samsung S25) and it even updated the device name fine. I can't seem to use the "send tab to device" option on my desktop firefox. Some constructive help would be nice.

On Firefox for Android, tap the square that shows the tab list. There are 3 categories: regular, private, and Sync'ed. Tap the icon to view the Sync'ed tabs list. The list should be grouped by device, and tapping an item will open it in a regular tab.
