Mozilla Firefox Send and Firefox Signin
Executive summary WS No. 01/10.06.2020: Why does the login to my Firefox account under Firefox Send (see reference a,b, c) fail continuously?
Reference: a) Firefox 77.0.1 (64 bit) - Windows 10 - Firefox Send in connection with my Firefox account, b) https://send.firefox.com/login/?utm_source=fxa-toolbar&utm_medium=referral&entrypoint=fxa_discoverability_native or c) https://send.firefox.com/
Cons: So I can only use the default setting under Firefox Send. I have no options, even if I am logged in to other Mozilla services at the same time.
Further notes:
a) The login to the sync service is successful in all cases: https://accounts.firefox.com/?context=fx_desktop_v3&entrypoint=fxa_app_menu&action=email&service=sync
b) The login to the account settings is successful in all cases: https://accounts.firefox.com/signin
Thanks for your hints ! werner.schiedlmeier@t-online.de P.S.: I'm new here! How do I find my problem and possible solutions again?

Hello,
to top it all off, I'll give myself an answer! I hope that my answer is not the only one, because it only partially satisfies me!
So I didn't give up, and tested several portable 64-bit versions of Firefox from PortableApps.com(Sourceforge) starting with version 57.0, most recently version 77.0.1
Unlike the setup version of the 64-bit browser under Win 10, all portable versions worked fine on my computer. Here I was able to perform the personal login to Firefox Send correctly, so that all described functions were available. From my point of view the described problem seems to be limited to a problematic user interface of the above mentioned setup version of the browser. For my part, I try to solve the problem by reinstalling the current version and if that doesn't help, I wait for a new version. This will come soon!
With kind regards
W.S.
