After copying profile that's already synced to my old account, I'm unable to set sync that copied profile to new mozilla account. According to support page, it should sync just fine by using different mozilla account. From what I noticed, this new copy profiles feature doesn't make a new profile in about:profiles, could this be an issue?

I use eBird extensively. When I try to play the audio (with sonograms), I get a message that says "We are still processing this file. Try again later". These files perform well on my Android phone, so I know it it is not eBird's glitch. I am confused about the setting options on Firefox that I need to set. These files are usually .wav format. I have tried to open a ticket with eBird, but have not had a response. Can you guide me? Thanks.

Hello, I occasionally go into the Firefox Extensions Manager and request it to check for updates. Today, I happened to notice that my extension for NordVPN was quite old (Version 5.2.2), and I was not able to get it to update. Therefore, I removed that extension and downloaded it again, which installed the latest Version 5.6.2. Is this a bug in Firefox? I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on macOS Monterey 12.7.6. Thanks!

Facebook page fails to fully load often (not always) and in some occasions it load partially -instead of a picture it shows a blank box with a description of what it is supposed to be on the box.

Using other browser (Edge for example) loads the page fine in the affected Laptop and loading on an IPad using Firefox works fine too.

I have "flushed" the WI-Fi and "requested" a new IP for this computer and it is hard to tell if this solves the problem temporary or it is just the on-off nature of the problem.

In other occasions the page appears to load ok but the pull down menu (like notifications) are "blank" or it just appears to be loading and never navigate to the requested page.

In the sample below (image) is similar to the issue although in this case the page loaded after a few seconds. Note the missing information.

I am moving away from Windows -- at least temporarily. I have purchased a Linux desktop CPU and would like to bring my Firefox bookmarks and settings. Is that possible? And secondly, I did have FIREFOX set up on this Linux, but something changed today -- it turned to all black and white, no color whatsoever. How can I get back to the page I set up?

I posted my problem last week on the forum and was told to do a Control+Shift+K, which I did. It indicated that Fingerprinting was blocking the sonograms. I am nervous about unblocking this one feature of eBird and wonder if someone could investigate and walk me through fixing it without messing things up overall. Nobody answered my post. I'm including an image of the results of my discovery. Thank you.

I have Windows 11 in this Thinkpad!! Why was using FireFox which I guess is out of business? So now I need a way to get Gmail, but Google Chrome has pop-ups that are taking up 25% of my screen space!!! Why? Help? should I go to Best Buy? What to ask? What did I do wrong? I'm 81. I've been having this problem for a wee while when I'm browsing facebook (which works better in Chrome) the site on firefox and as well as messenger is really laggy and I'm wondering if there is a hidden setting that I should change to improve this?

I only have adblock addon installed and I cleaned out the history and browser cookies ect but the problem still remains.

Has Firefox instituted a security setting that is interfering with commerce-related sites? Suddenly I can't log in to my credit union (gets stuck on "authentication" step), amazon.com (endless "transferring data" message during login attempt), and mutual fund sites (similar to amazon.com experience). These all are related to money/commerce. I've turned off Firefox's popup blocking and even explicitly allowed cookies for the sites. I did a Refresh to get rid of extensions that might be causing problems (even though there wasn't a problem a week ago on these sites). I've tried Firefox on a second computer for the credit union site and got the same behavior. Chrome has no problem with these logins, by the way.

Hi, I enabled the included Firefox VPN, but it only allows you to choose an entire country, and not very accurately or reliably. The help pages direct me to use Mozilla VPN to do that, so I enabled it, only to be told it's only available on Windows. How can I set my location to something else for a website on a Mac? Thanks.

After the most recent FF update, I can no longer upload pictures from my laptop to FB. I cannot see replies to posts in the main feeds. I have to go to the individual post pages to see them. Upon trying to sign into FB I often now get a message that says the feature is not working, but I click on it again and am able to log in. The feeds are taking a long time to load - I can see 3-4 posts and then icons that show the rest of the feed is trying to load, I do not have AVG or the other thing (bitdefender maybe, or something like that) others have been having problems with, that was resolved in a recent 'FB not working' thread -- that was supposedly solved with a recent update. A few minutes ago my laptop shut down while I was on FB. I did all of the suggestions regarding clearing the cache, cookies, etc. when I first noticed the problem so there is still a big problem with FB. I did report my inability to upload pictures directly to FB but I don't have any replies from them. Unrelated, I am sure, but my bookmarks were gone again this morning, for like the 24th time and I had to do the profile folder fix to get them back. I did not cache or other cleaning before I shut my computer down last night. It last happened a few days ago, unrelated to the cache etc cleaning after I noticed the FB problem. I have Norton antivirus and FF is synced to my cell phone but I prefer using my laptop for all internet activity because the screen is obviously bigger. I do not want to use another browser because of security issues. Thank you.
