See How to set the home page, if after set the home page, your Firefox continues changing your home page , try start Firefox in safe mode, also try search for malwares.

i guess i left out some info it always opens to msn my home page so maybe it is a msn problem?

You can go to msn sport page and get the url and set it as your home page, msn sometimes can change his sessions on the home page.
