Google has added some AI 'ads' to their title page? This just appeared a day or so ago on my system. How did I remove it, block it? Attached is an image of what I am asking about. What is interesting is in Chrome I can explicitly turn this junk off. But when using the Google search title page with Firefox, there appears to absolutely no way to disable it... very nasty way of forcing you to use Chrome?

I have questions about websites I visit that don't seem to work in Firefox, but when I visit the same sites in Microsoft Edge, the sites work fine. Previously (one site, 6 months ago, the second, in the last month), I had no issues with either site. It makes me wonder whether some protocol or requirement has changed that has caused my recent experience. Both sites are secure sites (banking and bill-paying related), and when I first experienced it, I didn't give it much thought since it happened while using the Windows 7 machine. I am now using a newer Windows 11 machine.

My most recent visit to the municipal site (water-bill payment and statement download) resulted in the new tab displaying

At the credit union site, I click a link that results in rotating arcs atop the webpage's background, and it neither times out nor displays the next screen (a link to a specific account). When I use the credit union's app on my smartphone, the next page displays as it should. (A message reply by the credit union showed a lack of understanding.)

Most of the Firefox settings are at its default settings, and the two sites are allowed to open pop-up tabs.

After 30+ years of using Firefox trouble-free, reverting to Edge is a step backward. (Every time I finish using Edge, I have to run my spyware program.)

From the costco login page when I enter my account and password yhe screen dims for a moment but nothing happens. When use the same page from Chrome it works fine.

Hi, I am using Firefox version 150.0.3 (64 bit). It says it is up to date and I'm on Windows 11and it is fully updated. I use the Colorado Peak website but can not upload documents to them or read my mail from them. I have to go to another browser to do that.

I have used Firefox as my default browser for over 20 years I don't want to give it up or use another browser even to do just a few things once in a while. Peak tech support says they have communicated with Firefox but gotten no response. Help!!

Description of the issue: I am experiencing an issue where I cannot paste images from my system clipboard into the chat box of Doubao (a web-based AI chatbot: doubao.com).

Steps to reproduce:

   Copy an image to the clipboard.
   Open doubao.com in Firefox.
   Click on the chat input box and press Ctrl + V (or right-click and Paste).

Expected result: The image should be pasted into the chat box and ready to be sent.

Actual result: Nothing happens. The image is not pasted.

I use a banking website to access my bills electronically. When the bill is selected, a PDF copy is supposed to auto download. For sometime now I have been getting an error 'HTTP 405 - HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL'. When I follow the same process in Safari the bill downloads without an issue. This issue has been occurring for quite some time (maybe at least 24 months).

Can someone please advise whether the source site, or Firefox, is causing the problem, and what needs to be done to fix it?

I am using the latest version of Firefox with Venture 13.7.8 on a Mac Mini 2018.

Hey everyone!

I just noticed that post FF's 150 update, I can no longer drag and drop folders into my DSM window. This has been a non issue for over 6 years and all of a sudden, poof. I did find that you can still to this on Safari, but long term, Mozilla and Synology need to address this. There's already a post on the Synology fourms about it and I've emailed their Support Team to see what they have to day. Posting this here in case anyone has found a workaround in the Config settings pane.

Prior to the latest release I could easily log into the site https://fun.chicagotribune.com/game/tca-jumble-daily. I can login in but once at the player page I must enter command shift R to reload the page afresh. The response is very slow relative to the previous edition of Firefox. There are other examples I could site with similarly odd behavious. Just today I tried to make a reservation with resy. I got a total runaround to my entries. I eventually gave up and used Safari and everthing proceeded as expected and I made my reservation.

I have been using our CT association's multiple listing service, Smart MLS, on Firefox for years. All of a sudden, while I can log in and can select a search, nothing happens when I press "view results". I even logged in independently from my bookmarked address - still the same problem. Can I call someone to talk this through?

For 24 hours now I have not been able to connect to Facebook via Firefox browser on my laptop at all. I can connect on my phone, but not my laptop. I've made sure there are no extensions on my browser, my firewall is off, all cookies and cache have been cleared, I even Uninstaller Firefox and reinstalled it. When I try to bring up Facebook, nothing happens. It won't even bring the page up. All other websites work fine. I can't even bring up Facebook to clear the caches in Facebook per the troubleshooting guide. It says to open Dacwbook and click the lock on the address bar, but I can't even open Facebook. What am I missing here?

Spectrum updated my modem and router, but now I get AOL photos but no stories. They (AOL) tells me to use another browser (Chrome) to solve the issue. Do you have another method of solving this problem?

I have two browsers installed Firefox and Chrome. Firefox has problems with an ever increasing number of websites (that are switching to Akamai Edgesuite) while Chrome marches on without issues.

I recently discovered the Browser User Agent identification string that is used by the server to determine what browser it is talking to. This is useful for serving content correctly to different types of devices like a phone or PC. You can find your Browser User Agent string here:

So thinking that this might be Firefox's problem I copied the string from my working Chrome installation and added it to Firefox. Unfortunately the issue continues.

So somehow Edgesuite is using something MORE than just the user agent string to kick Firefox to the curb. Does anyone have any clues as to what this might be and how to get Firefox in the good graces of Edgesuite?

Today, for the first time, I could not login to my bank using my Swedish Bank-ID to identify myself. The ordinary QR-Code was no longer the same and was therefore not readable for my phone camera. Have there been any recent update of Firefox, which could explain this?

bold text I have been haveing trouble with my Spectrum email account (mail.twc.com)) Today I talked to a tech and she said they no longer are compatible with Spectrum. You log in and it says feature unavailable. They suggest using Google. I hate Google. It is just one giant ad machine. Their email is barely tolerable. They also said the reason they haven't fixed the issue is because they say Google is going away soon.

When trying to view a Fusion 360 model or a Sketchup 3D model, I get a message that WEBGL is not supported by my device. It has always worked in the past and still works under Opera and Chrome.

With all the background auto updates, it's hard to determine what changes have been made to my PC prior to it stopped working.

After searching for solutions and going through the checklist:- 1. My video (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti) drivers are up to date, 2. "Use hardware acceleration when available" is checked in Firefox. 3. "WEBGL.disabled" is set to false.

Is there some other tweak in Firefox that I'm missing? I'm assuming it's a Firefox issue/bug as it works in other browsers... just tested Edge... worked OK.

I'm running Windows 11 on a fairly high end PC which I believe is up to date. Last checked 12 hours ago.

Hello! I can't login to my x.com account from Firefox 115.35.2esr on Windows 7 SP1. I'd was stay logged in many years before I accidentally clear my cookies. And now I can't login. It just reloaded input form when I type my login and press "Next"button. I tryed login from Private mode, I tryed to disable all addons. Nothing helped. But I still can login/logout from Firefox 140.10.2 on Windows 11.
