Ciao, ti comunico che in mattinata come sempre all'apertura della posta come di incanto thunderbird era tutto in italiano, probabilmente ha risposto a scoppio ritardato all'azione lanciata in precedenza per scaricare e installare il link ricevuto dal tuo collega per ottenere la nuova versione che all'atto non ha recepito ma ora è perfetta cioè in italiano come la preferivo, riguardo il passaggio di cambiare lingua che mi suggerisci l'avevo provato senza successo. Ti ringrazio per il supporto Vs. che mi avete offerto mi auspico di non avere problemi in seguito cmq ti saluto cordialmente. Renato

"Показывать вложения в теле сообщения" для pdf на работает. Включение отключение опции никак не влияет. Через настройки включал параметр mail.inline_attachments.text в true и перезапускал приложение - не помогает.

Ciao, premesso che non sono tanto pratico come verificherai dalle mie precedenti discussioni con tuoi colleghi, ho installato l'ultima versione di Thunderbird su importanti segnalazioni di criticità dell'antivirus Kaspersky che suggeriva di installare l'ultima versione pertanto ho lanciato richiesta di aiuto al forum della comunità che mi ha inviato il link tradotto in italiano avendo (x64 it) ho scaricato e installato ma senza successo perchè è rimasto sempre in inglese, forse non avendo tanta conoscenza di passaggi da eseguire non so. Spero che comprenderai la questione auspicando un tuo cortese aiuto ha risolvere il problema cmq grazie e saluti. Renato

I can't highlight words on attachments, they open in a window, if I left click and try to copy words nothing is highlighted, so invisable highlights, it does copy if I right click and copy, but you can't see what you are copying!

With a new Windows11 install on a new drive, I can't get my saved emails, folders, and passwords to my new Thunderbird installation. I tried copying the profile folder from my old Windows10 per instructions, but Thunderbird doesn't recognize it on this new Windows11 install.

I installed Thunderbird on my new laptop, then imported the profile from my old laptop

The main screen has, under "Inbox", folders for Drafts, Sent, Trash, Archive and Spam, which are being used by the program

Folders for Drafts, Sent and Trash also appear under "Local Folders" (along with Outbox) and these aren't being used by the program.

How do I get rid of these duplicate folders? "Spam" had a delete option, so that was easy, but the others don't.

I tried the two suggestions for a previous "Duplicates" question but they didn't resolve things.

I can not down load Emails from Yahoo to Thunderbird. Every things was fine as of Aug 26th. On Aug 27th with no changes to any system settings the Yahoo Emails would not down Load. I am running Win 10 on my system. I disabled the antivirus. Reloaded Thunderbird - no effect.

I have since deleted Thunderbird and then reinstalled  latest version of Thunderbird (154.0) .
I re-entered my password. I checked the OAuth2  settings and they are set as described in the support article "OAuth2 Authentication for Yahoo, AOL and ATT". 

Message bar at bottom of Thunderbird screen shows: Myaccountname@yahoo.com:Downloading message 1 of 7 The emails do not down load - then after a few minutes - a no messages to download message flashes and then blank - nothing

I am out of Ideas. Anyone?

I can print e-mail, but not the attachmnet since yesterday. So I contacted HP-support, but it is not the printer. The last attachment I printed was before the last update of thunderbird. What can i do?

Suddenly since Friday 21.08.2026 morning every single person in our company started to call the IT department that their Thunderbird client is printing out blank pages (white pages) instead of attachments from emails.

What is happening -> Employee gets email with PDF attachment -> clicks to open it in thunderbird print preview -> prints -> blank page comes out.

What works -> Downloading the PDF and printing it. Opening the PDF in any other browser than Thunderbird and printing it.

No settings or updates were changed and it's a big issue affecting multiple computers.

What I tried doing -> Trying different printer (No fix), Resetting print settings in thunderbird (No fix). Trying other PDF attachments from older emails (No fix). Looking at print settings in windows (Which I didn't change since it only doesnt work in Thunderbird).

Problem is that on thunderbird in my office, This doesn't happen. We have the same versions and settings.

I tried opening the error console while opening the PDF and on computers where it doesnt work it shows me an error with along the lines of "This document is open in compability mode due to **** header <doctype html>" Something like that but i would have to check again.

I don't get this error on my personal PC.

I am setting up an I select "Invite Participants" the pop-up screen locks up.

I have tried to change accounts one at the time with no luck. I also selected the "Attendees" tab near the bottom of the pop-up. That did not help either.

This is running on a Windows 11 Home operating system.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS - I moved from Microsoft Outlook to Thunderbird as I did not like the new Outlook. This has been very frustrating.

The 'new' Thunderbird doesn't allow a password entry in server setup and will not prompt me for one. It pops up a Windows toaster message saying it can't connect - obviously. I set the advanced options to not remember the signon but still no success.

Every 10 minutes, your Thunderbird app generates an attachment (nmsa) that McAfee deems a Trojan and quarantines it. I get 15-20 popups from mcafee every hour. If I close Thunderbird it stops. What can i do to stop this from happening?

I'm currently making a custom theme for Thunderbird for my own personal use. I've gotten pretty much everything how I want it to look – except the main content. I prefer light mode for accessibility, and currently it's stuck in dark mode everywhere (my settings menu, calendar, mailbox, etc).

The first image is how it currently looks, and the second is how I want it to look (the black boxes are there to block sensitive info). What would I need to add/edit in my manifest.json and/or style.css to get there?

I used to use Foxmail as my email client. When writing emails with oversized images, I could right-click the image and select the "Auto resize it to proper size" option to make the image easier to read. However, I can't find the same function in Thunderbird. Do I need to use an extension, or is there another way? Can someone please help me? It's really frustrating.

What are the memory limits for Thunderbird. Currently, I get this message when I try to save and email "Unable to save your message to local folders. Possibly out of local file storage space." Please see attached screenshot.

I am not out of storage space.

Any suggestions?

Hello Smart People:

I have literally decades of emails from a prior job that I want to detach from T-bird without deleting them. I hope to drastically reduce the size of "Local Folders" so I can more easily transport my email from machine to machine.

Archiving won't work in this case because it retains the mail, when I really want it removed, but accessible again later.

How can I do this?

I see others are having this same issue with no resolution in sight.

The company I work at is unable to print anything through the print preview in Thunderbird. The current work around is to download, open, then print the file.

Does anyone have any further information on this subject besides going through separate avenues to fix the problem?
