I have stored many received emails for whatever reason and before I was able to look at these under gordonr.anderson@ntlworld.com and folders. Just recently this has failed and I don't know why. I am not a computer wiz so please can you explain in very simple terms, thankyou, regards Andy G.R. Anderson

You did not store them in the Inbox, did you? It was not intended for that purpose. One of these pages might help.

How often do you compact your folders? You should do that frequently (at the very least, once a week). You can archive old messages that you want to keep.
